Elite - The Python

Long story short - Elite is a popular computer game circa the mid 80's, this is a rebuild of the classic ship the Python, originally about a 12 polygon game model in the original version. The idea of this tutorial was basically as an exercise inspired by an old friend of mine from the Elite community - could a Python be modernised considering that it was a simple 12 poly object, into something more modern yet keeping with the Elite look. I combined the traditional shape with superstructure from a trawler, a floating storage rig, a cargo holder and some other bits and bobs and amalgamated them into this one. Hope you enjoy it.

The Desert Eagle Handgun

Modelling guns is like modelling a car, never as easy at is seems unfortunately, especially with the newer models. The Desert Eagle with all its milling and fluting as well at the removable parts such as the trigger and of course the bit that goes "Cli-Click" (You can tell I know a lot about guns...) is a technical model to build, so hopefully this will set up all you wannabie modders out there with something you can use.
