3d Max Beginners only tutorial

Anyone who is a little familiar with 3d max such as, u can extrude, import, restart, all that,its pointless watchin unless u'd like to kno how to cut the faces of a poly w/o slicin, o and for more beginners, to rotate its alt+left clik, zoom, alt+right clik, and to select more than 1 face/poly hold ctrl and either drag or clik to selct individual pieces

With this project you'll learn to model from splines, converting to editable poly and then using additional modifiers such as shapemerge to add detail to basic shapes. We start by setting up blueprints and then model each individual part of the mp3 player piece by piece. Once that is done we go on to texturing this in a realistic way, the we apply shaders to increase the realism further. Finally we set up a convincing 'studio' light setup using mental ray and render the final images.
