Creating "Aviator's Wife"

About the picture Aviator’s wife is a character made in 3d Studio Max for the upcoming short CG movie Code Guardian by Marco Spitoni. Marco`s idea was to make a still portrait of a pilot's wife so he could glare at it before going to battle or some particular emotive situation. Inspiration came from glamorous actresses and starlets of the past where at the end the more intriguing references I found, were pictures of Marlene Dietrich, I kept them as a main guideline for the mood and appearance I wished to portray.
